Lean Turkey Buffalo Meatballs

Okay these are PERFECT. I modified from a recipe that I’ve tried a while ago to see what I could play around with to make it more “healthy”. Find the original recipe here. See below the changes that I’ve made to decrease the fat and calories in the recipe.

Ingredients
1lb Extra Lean Ground Turkey
1 Bottle of Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce (Get the large bottle)
3 Egg Whites
½ cup Quick Oats
1 tsp Pepper
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Chopped Green Onion (Add more to your liking)
Bolthouse Farms Ranch or Bolthouse Farms Blue Cheese (Optional dipping)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.

While the oven is heating up, mix the turkey, oats, green onion, egg whites & spices in a bowl, blend well. Roll the mixture into 1” meatballs and spread evenly onto a greased or foil covered baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes until browned on the outside. I flipped mine halfway through cooking.

Once browned, remove from baking sheet and add into a deep baking dish. Place them evenly on the bottom and cover with Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce. Toss the meatballs so that they are all covered.

Cover the baking dish and bake for another 25-30 minutes to finish cooking the meatballs all the way through. Let cool and enjoy with Bolthouse Ranch or Bolthouse Blue Cheese dressing!

This recipe was a hit for the masses. Great for an appetizer on Sunday football days! A great healthy alternative to fried buffalo wings!
